Tessa Charles is a printmaker working in large size lino who is based in Isleworth, Middlesex, and who also has a studio and workshop in Orkney. She exhibits regularly both in Orkney and in the south. She is a member of Richmond Printmakers. Visitors are always welcome, both north and south, by arrangement.
Unlike conventional lino prints where colours are added by recutting or by multiple blocks, Tessa applies all the various inks by roller at the same time. This means that each print differs in detail from others within the edition.
